Welcome to Kenley & Caterham RAF Association
-why not join us and be part of something amazing?
The RAF Association (RAFA) is the largest single Service membership organisation and the longest standing registered service charity that provides welfare support to the RAF Family – providing friendship, help and support to current and former members of the Royal Air Force and their dependants.
Receiving no government contributions, our work is completely funded by the generosity of our members and supporters.
Our Branch of the Association consists of more than 350 members and is located at the southern end of Greater London. Our home is on Kenley Airfield, established in 1917 and a key RAF base during the Battle of Britain and throughout World War Two. Close by are three other key RAF sites from the Second World War; Biggin Hill, Croydon and Redhill.
We are lucky to have one of the former RAF buildings on Kenley Airfield as our home. Branch members meet in the Portcullis Club on Tuesday nights from 7.30 pm and Sundays from 12 noon into the late afternoon. The club is also open for frequent Wings Appeal and other events.
615 Volunteer Gliding Squadron is based at RAF Kenley and through them, and the local Air Training Corps squadrons, the Branch maintains strong links with today’s Royal Air Force.
To find out what we’re up to take a look at our events page.
Anyone can join, you don’t have to have served or be serving in the RAF. Click here to find out more.
